:: Trip to Xian
On Friday August 21st, P1 and P3 students have their final exam in the morning and in the evening they will take a night-train that arrives to Xian in the morning. During two days, we will explore cultural relics, museums, and historical sites, including the world-famous terracotta army of China’s first Emperor, Qin Shi Huang.
Home to the famous terracotta warriors unearthed only 30 years ago, Xian is undoubtedly the historical center of China. Over the millennia, Xian has been host to more than a dozen Chinese dynasties. It was also the terminus for the ancient Silk Road and was visited by merchants from all over the world.
